Heading Home

Tidal flats, St.Andrews by the Sea, New Brunswick

Reluctantly, it is time to make tracks towards home. We took a shortcut through the USA and found ourselves back with family and friends for a few weeks in November.
Although it was sad to finish the trip, we did enjoy some great visiting in Ontario again. Here are some snapshots and highlites.
The trip isn’t exactly finished yet however, we decided to leave our van in storage in Ontario and fly home for the winter. We’ll return next summer and drive it back when the weather’s nicer.
Maybe some of you would like to join us for the return leg? We look forward to it.

Howdy! What a cool street intersection that is. I cannot believe the coincidence of it. And in your daddy’s hometown too. I totally LOVE the family picture – Penny you look fantabulous in blue and well, you all look so sweet. That picture of Union Station looks so exciting it makes me want to take a trip by train! Not to mention the spaghetti sauce picture. Love you all, lw

I forgot to mention how much I LOVE the picture of Willow running across the Rideau bridge at Smith’s Falls. Daddy fit the whole tree into the picture behind you Willow! AWESOME shot!

Finally….some more pics of the end of your trip; have been hanging out for them! Love all the fall colours and the happy snaps of all your extended family – amazing lady your Gramma Kelsey – she looks so good for having produced so many strapping “boys” – your uncles and Dad!

Willow darling you are growing up so sweetly with a well-rounded exposure to all the good things in life. Look forward to more pickies of the next episodes of you in the snow! I was with you one year agon while that waterfall behind your house was frozen. No doubt you are all toasty warm in the main house now and not bunking it out in the garage, eh?

Australia is experiencing an extremely hot summer with average temps in the late 30s (that’s above!). There have been some horrific fires mainly in the country areas, not cities, with lots of damage to farms, cattle and houses. We haven’t been getting much rain so all major cities are on level 3 restrictions which means we can’t use our sprinklers to water the garden or wash our cars with a hose – have to use a bucket and sponge! At least we have plenty to drink – to keep us cool.

Love and kisses to all three of you…Sandra

So good to see that you arrived back home safely. It was very nice to meet you and we hope that Dad and Mom will soon bring you back again to visit us here on the east coast ………….. in the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Next time bring Gramma Kelsy with you too.

Some wonderful new pics….we really like the ones in Smiths Falls!
By the way, Hunter says to come back anytime for spaghetti, he’s very willing to share some more.

By the way, we’re up for joining you on the way home next summer….we’re getting our bags packed already!

    Love,
    Lynda, Dale, Corey & Hunter
    xoxo
