Back to work after the holidays. We start out the new year building a garbage bin. Daddy helped me out a bit with the finishing.

The secret is lots of chocolate chips.

Debbie likes reading books almost as much as I do!

She likes bubbles too! These ones even smell like ice cream!

We had lots of fun in Abbotsford. I’m really going to miss Debbie.

Back in Alberta….bad hair day.

Had a great visit with David Chantler. He helped me build a snow zoo.

Activities on the LONG drive home.

I did my best to keep busy.

Finally hitting the mountains in Montana. Just about there!

Everything was just as we left it 4 months earlier.

We celebrated with homemade cookies.

Settling back into an Alberta routine.

Didn’t take long to hear from the grandparents.

Prepping the holiday cards to send out to everyone.

The CPR Holiday Train stopped in Crowsnest Pass. Everyone was there.

My favorite spaghetti meal to celebrate my first overnight without mommy.

Back in Calgary I went to a great party where I had my face painted.

Our friends Doug and Darlene gave me a great big bear, I called him Honey Bear.

We spent a day at Heritage Park in Calgary and went on a horse drawn wagon ride.

Ready for the holidays and a busy rest of winter…..

We flew from Toronto so it was a pretty quick flight – only three and half hours to Jardines airport in Cayo Cocco.

The beach was my favourite part. It was very soft white sand and the water was warm like bath water.

I got to play with lots of other kids and shared my sand toys with them.

The pools were my favourite part too!

The swings were my favourite part too!

We tried all the restaurants. Italian, Japanese, Seafood and Buffet.

The deserts and “cappacino” were my favourite part!

I liked the music.

Chillin’ on the beach.

Going on the paddle boat with Mommy and Daddy and looking for fish was my favourite part.

Finding hop toads with Daddy was fun too!

And walking on the beach and looking for crabs with Mommy.

Sometimes the crabs found me.

But for sure my favourite favourite part was the ice cream!!!

This was our last day in Cuba. I was pretty tired.

Life is good! Adios Cuba!

We went to the Norfolk in Simcoe with Papa and Nana. Those pumpkins were way bigger than me!

Papa helped me pet the calves. We saw lots of farm animals there.

We went to the Burford Fair as well with Gramma Marion.

My first time on the rides! Let’s go again!

I told Gramma not to be afraid on the train.

Then we shared a red slushie pop.

I even got to feed “the kids”.

I went on lots of picnics with Nana and Papa. Sometimes Mommy and Daddy would come too.

This was in Stratford where the famous swans live. It was Thanksgiving Day – but it was so warm we went for a picnic.

The warm weather had all the bees out. They really liked my corn.

We went for a long walk along the river.

We had lots of parties – ones for Grandma Jeanie and Gramma Marion and even Mommy.

I liked the ones that ended around the fire the best.

I really like to play with Gramma Marion’s puppy Lucy. I tried to sleep in her cage- but I am almost too big now.

I helped daddy install the cabinets. Good thing I had my drill!

This was a much more comfortable way to sleep. I am going need some sleep – we have a big trip coming up in the next post.

Aunt Judy grew this pineapple in her house! It was delicious.

Auntie Tammie and her new friend John came down to Harrow for a visit too.
We had a great campfire.

We spent a day in Detroit and visited the Henry Ford Museum.

We spent a night camping with Hunter and his family.
Unfortunately it rained- but Hunter and I had fun!

Hunter and I met up again at Gramma’s birthday party.
This time the weather was great.

We had a “happy Burfday” party for Gramma Marion as well.
It was at Uncle Tim’s in the new barn/shop.

It was very exciting for everyone there.

We managed to fit in a couple days at the beach in Long Point this summer.
This day I went with Daddy and Uncle Russ.

chance to catch up with her and Rick at the Elmhurst.
She let me play with her beautiful shawl.

More family dinners, and more ice cream! Always a fun combination!

Papa read me lots (and lots) of books to me this summer.

Nana read me some too if Papa was tired. This is one of my favorites – Old McDonald!

It was such perfect beach weather – we decided to stay for supper!

Even perfect weather for a swim.

Only a two year old can have this much fun!

Uncle John liked to push me on my swing. He was very good at it!

We went for a hike at Chinook Lake.

Spent a few different days at the Calgary Zoo.

I love watching the baby hippo.

On Canada Day we went to two parties! One was at Olympic Plaza downtown Calgary.

We all had “Canada tatoos”!

There were so many people Daddy helped me to see the stage. That’s the Calgary Tower behind us.

I was waiting for the fireworks to begin! We had to wait a long time for it to get dark enough for them to start!

We spent a day with our friends David and Sheryl Chantler.

Sheryl gave me a potty that was over 80 years old. I am reading my Potty book to learn all about using potties. Very interesting!

Sheryl “helped” me take a nap. She fell asleep- but I didn’t!

I am with Danielle Goyette. She won two medals at the Olympics for hockey and carried the flag for Canada in 2006. I met her at the Calgary Stampede.

It was really hot this summer- but I found a way to cool down during the days.

I like to sit in the pink Jeep when I get my hair cut.

But my favourite spot to sit in on Daddy’s tractor.

You keep looking and I will show you more of what I have been doing on the next post.

Bruce-”the digger guy”- brought his trackhoe and did lots of landscaping work. I supervised from a distance.

When Bruce was finished Mommy and Daddy did lots of raking.

I had my own digging work to take care of.

I usually needed a bath after that “work”!

And a manicure too!

Glenn” the flooring guy” came too. He put slate in the bathrooms and on most of the floors.

He used a “pirate plank” to walk in and out of the basement.

He marked out every tile before he installed them.

Meanwhile back in Calgary Auntie Tammie was putting tile in her kitchen too. I was able to give her some pointers.

Daddy drove the car up then Mommy and I flew to Prince George a week later.

I had lots of fun visting with everyone- especially Olaf’s nephew Darien.

Darien likes spaghetti as much as me.

Finally the kitchen was finished and it was time to pack up. Darien and I had to do quality control first.

Uncle Olaf and Daddy were happy to finish!

We packed the kitchen in the back of the U-Haul and towed the car back to Bellevue. This is us in McBride BC.

I got to ride up front with Mommy and Daddy to make sure they remembered the way. It took 14 hours to get home and I stayed awake for almost all of it!

Our new kitchen in- our new house- but waiting in the living room to be installed.

Uncle John came out from Ontario to help Daddy install the kitchen- but I supervised.

Aunt Tammie had a big surprise for me on May 11th this year.

Gramma Kelsey gave me a new book and read lots of stories to me. She has lots of fun pencils and notebooks to play with too. Her favourite stores are Chapters and Staples so she has all of my favourite things to get into!

Gramma Kelsey has a very fun little poodle puppy named Lucy. I like to call Gramma Nana Puppy. Puppy’s kennel is almost as much fun as Lucy is! Just the right size for both of us.

I was showing Lucy my Silly Dog book – but I don’t think she likes reading very much! But she likes hugs and kissses and I gave her lots of those!

We took Lucy for a ride in the van and she sat with me. I don’t think she likes riding in the van as much as I do either. I don’t know what a Vet is – but apparently Lucy doesn’t like going there and that is where she thought we were going.

Actually we were going to see Uncle Russ and Uncle Ron and Aunt Vita and Uncle Tim at Quadica. Uncle Russ likes stickers as much as I do.

Uncle Russ made me a really cool puzzle of my name and Aunt Vita helped me play with it. He even made me a wooden letter box to keep all the letters in. Mommy thought it was great except for the fact there are about 150 letters to put into the box! I am very good at taking them all out – and still working on putting them all back in!

Uncle Ron came to visit us at Grandpa’s for Easter. We all had a big dinner and even a bunny cake.

We had eggs and ham for Easter breakfast. Grandpa says he doesn’t like green eggs and ham – but it’s my favourite book!

Auntie Debbie came for a visit with her granddaughter Cara. We had lots of fun tiring Grandpa out!

Ready for the weather! Someone said this was supposed to be spring! Looks like winter to me.

I fell in the box but instead of helping me out – they took a picture!

I have three Grammas. Nana Puppy, Nana and Papa and Nana Jeanie.

We also had a party at Aunt Barb’s. Gramma Jeanie and I shared a glass of cheer!

I also had tea with the teddy bear with Aunt Barb’s tea set.

My cousin Hunter joined me for tea as well.



I am not sure Hunter actually likes tea parties.

But I sure do.

My cousin Corey has it figured out. But he might not like his karate friends to see this picture.

Sometimes you just really need a bath.

Grandma Jeanie lives in Tillsonburg now so we got to visit her lots of times.

But then our time was over and we had to say good-bye.

Nana and Papa and Aunt Vita drove us to the airport.

I like flying – but landing hurts my ears when I have a cold. Mommy was happy when we touched down!

Daddy had to stay home this trip. He met us at the airport with balloons.

I really missed Daddy- next time we all will go together. See you again this summer!
